Join the team for one or both of these fun nights of skill building, laughs and learn you CAN RVR SUP TOO! 
Help support the teams journey to the GoPro Mountain Games in Vail Colorado and the Fibark SUP Championships in Salida Colorado . All the proceeds from these classes go to support Reta, Amanda and Jackie with travel and competition costs!

River SUP @ Harvies Passage

May 26th , 2022
Course Description

This is a 1 evening progression with Amanda L, Reta and Jackie. They will guide participants from Class I Rivers to moving with the flow on Class II Rivers.

Goals
The aim of this course is to introduce paddlers with good SUP Class I River skills to progress up to paddling comfortably in Class II River currents. This course not only focuses on skills, but on all the safety elements of paddling on the river. In this course, you will learn about stronger currents, river hazards and running drops.

Outcomes
After completing this course, participants can expect to feel comfortable taking a personal (unguided) SUP trip on Class II Rivers. They will understand the potential hazards the river poses, along with a variety of new skills that can apply to the moving water environment. Skills include stronger eddies, ferries and running small drops.

River SUP Surfing @ Harvies Passage

Course Description

This is a 1 evening progression with Amanda L, Reta and Jackie. They will introduce participants to SUP surfing on waves at Harvies Passage.

Goals
The aim of this course is to introduce paddlers with good SUP Class I River skills to progress up to surfing comfortably in Class II River currents. This course not only focuses on skills, but on all the safety elements of paddling on the river. In this course, you will learn about stronger currents, river hazards, and surfing. 

Outcomes
After completing this course, participants can expect to feel comfortable scouting, entering and trying to surf waves on Class II Rivers. They will understand the potential hazards the river poses, along with a variety of new skills that can apply to the moving water environment. Skills include all components required to SUP Surf!
