Course Description
Find your feet with our team of progressive CANRVRSUP instructors in this beginners’ course conveniently held in the evenings. Participants will learn all the basic stand up paddle boarding and safety skills needed to start successfully paddling on flatwater. Goals This course aims to provide new paddlers with a solid foundation of basic flatwater skills and motivation to keep progressing their paddling. Outcomes After completing this course, participants can expect to feel comfortable taking a personal (unguided) SUP trip on flatwater and will understand basic self-rescue skills, and paddle strokes needed to move safely and efficiently on flatwater.
