"Learning to Paddle with the CANRVRSUP TEAM- “Hear me out”

"The instructors were warm, patient but direct, explaining the basics in gear to the more advanced in surf strokes necessary to enter the river.  We were like “this is why we need lessons” …. It was so helpful to have these multiple instructors guiding us, as a few of us took a few extra, unintended dips in the deep. Again, all necessary to be fully prepared for our pending river engagement."

Join us in Ecuador 2023

This trip will include more than just paddling. Clients will get to sight see stunning locations, go to hot springs,  visit wild monkeys and experience the diverse culture and food of Ecuador.

'Flannely McFlannelson' Kula Cloth ®

CA$25.52

Flannely McFlannelson? Why yes, that's me. What dost thou beseech of me at thine ghastly hour, m'lady? Whither dost thou goest to findest thine spot to pee? And if thou dost hasten to thine deepest woods... whilst thou bring a Kula with thine to hold in thine grasp?

Wow. That was intense. We couldn't come up with a name for this print, but this one made us laugh - and isn't life better that way? Plus, names are just made up anyways. Who you are is so much more than a jumble of letters and sounds. You're infinite and magic. And if you want to name your first born child Flannely McFlanneson, then go right ahead.

INTRO TO RVR SUP TOURING
Eight women came together, of all different skill levels, ages and backgrounds, for this unique experience. After a warm up paddle on Thursday near Rocky Mountain House, we set off into the wilderness on Friday. We paddled down the North Saskatchewan River from Nordegg access point to the Brierlies boat launch.

KOOTENAY RIVER 2023
As we paddled through the day we planned to stay upriver from the Palliser Rapid so we could start the day fresh and ready for a big run. Setting up camp for the night we began to notice that the water levels were rising. I marked the water level with a stick and we carried all of our gear up to the high water mark to ensure we would still have everything come morning.
